What do I value? In the end I value resiliency over just about everything else a close second would be ingenuity, which is in my mind an enabler for resiliency. Ceteris paribus, breadth of knowledge in my mind is preferable to depth of knowledge, for it is the knowledgable generalist who can leverage datums from one area and apply them to another or in other words, versatility. So I feel very very proud to be recognized the The Open Group for mastery in both the IT Technical Specialist and the IT Architect professions, as buttresses for Site Reliability Engineering and Web Performance practices.
